Macbook Pro Snow Leopard 10.6.8 looking for suitable Xcode

    Hi,

    I bought my Macbook Pro 2.54 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 in 2009. It got Snow leopard 10.6.8 and Xcode 3.2 out of the box.

    I am trying to write some iphone/ipad application on my Macbook using Xcode. But the Xcode doesn't seem to have the function like creating iphone app and emulator. I found Xcode 4 from AppStore, but it requires Lion 10.7.

    I don't really want to upgrade to Lion 10.7, as some said it's not stable and it also costs some bucks.

    I wonder if anyone can give any suggestions for writing iphone/ipad application my Macbook.
